Look at that sweet girl's smile.... Emma as a baby.... that bear hat was the first thing I bought when we found out we were pregnant... and the cupcake outfit is the one she came home from the hospital in - even though it was super big b/c she was tiny-tiny.

Every time I look at her now Im in awe at how big and grown up she has become... and watch out b/c she can charm the pants off anyone... such her daddy's child.

Its been forever since I did a Link Love post - mostly due to the fact that the last time I tried, the internet went crazy and dropped out so I lost all my hard work... since we are just getting started again, I thought I would just do a link love lite version today so neither of us would get overwhelmed... Kelli - Columbus MS Senior Photographer



I was so excited when I got to do Kelli's senior pictures. For one, she is completely gorgeous... for two, she has the sweetest personality and didnt stress at all during pictures... which makes my job a little easier - of course, you can look at Kelli and tell my job wasnt too hard from the get-go. I always have a tendency of over-posting (putting up too many pics), but I cant help it - how could I cut any of them.... so I hope you enjoy!

 



 

 

I love that the weather has finally started to warm up... now if we can just get the rain to hold off for a little bit... but either way, I am staying busy and loving that more than I could write in simple words.  I do love my clients and believe that I am one of the most lucky people on the earth to have an amazing family and get to do what I love - thank you for that!  Hope yall are having a great week!

Check out that sweet baby... Gabe was just one year old in that pic - wearing a PushStars shirt - we take his picture in this shirt on his birthday every year to see how much he has grown.  Now that he is 8, the shirt is above his knees - crazy how fast it goes!

Flower Girls: Yellow

And now we head back into our flower girl series... this week is "yellow" and Elizabeth did an amazing job with it too - isnt she gorgeous?! - and seriously, you would not believe how sweet she is in person as well... Im so lucky, I get to work with such amazing people..... While I do wish the pictures had posted in the correct order, I still think you will enjoy them.... I know I do!

Merit Award

 

My "7 Deadly Sins: Lust" pic was entered into the Cotton District Arts Festival this past Saturday... and it won a merit award.  These are given out before the show starts by a jury of peers and art people (professors and critics, I think).... so to receive that kind of recognition was a great honor for me.  I hope you got to see it.

 

If not, 3 of the other sin pics will be in the Market Street Festival art show at the Rosenweig.... they have a people's choice award if you want to go vote as well.

I havent posted this week because of all the chaos that has happened in our country... I think I am still a little shell shocked over everything in Boston and Texas... my heart goes out to all of you.
